We are IT managed service company looking for A+ certified technician with a minimum of 2 years experience. A candidate must have a clean and valid driver`s license and be willing to travel to our clients office throughout Westchester (and possibly Putnam as well). Please e mail current resume with reference and salary requirements. If any is missing we will discard. More details will be provided if you are called in.
Responsibilities will include administration of Microsoft Windows Servers and Desktops in both "workgroup" and "domain" environments, implementing and configuring TCP/IP networks, firewall and VPN installation/configuration, upgrading hardware and peripherals, software installation, and configuration of both onsite and offsite backup devices and software.
Experience with Mail Servers, Linux, Point of Sale, and/or Mac is desirable.
Requirements:
* Punctual to appointments and meet all deadlines in a timely manner.
* Get along with other people.
* Possess good troubleshooting skills.
* Be able to speak and perform with complete professionalism.
* Have hands on experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows servers.
* Have the ability to install and configure backups using a commercial software/hardware solution.
* Thoroughly understand TCP/IP networking.
* Have hands on experience with hardware firewalls and VPN connectivity.
* Have a valid driver`s license and own reliable transportation.
* Be willing to travel to our clients throughout Westchester (and possibly Putnam as well)
